SECURITY OFFICER Provide unarmed security for Barrett Firearms Manufacturing, Inc. facilities, employees and property. Control access and conduct daily, periodic patrols of grounds. Escort authorized guests and vendors while on the property. Monitor CC surveillance and alarm systems. Deter criminal activity and misconduct. Operate Barrett switchboard and secure incoming mail. Perform some data entry and record keeping. Perform other duties as specified in post orders. Requirements Candidates must meet the following basic qualifications for this position: Be at least 18 years of age Be able to work flexible schedules Have a high school diploma or equivalent Possess a valid driver license Have access to reliable transportation Be able to pass drug-screen and physical exam Be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, driving record, employment, education & reference verification and credit check (if applicable) Be able to operate basic office equipment and two-way radio Be able to operate basic computer software and Outlook Express Demonstrate an ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public & coworkers Have one or more of the following: *Associates degree or higher in any curriculum *Prior active duty military service with honorable discharge *Prior or active service in military reserves or Na tional Guard *Prior service in auxiliary/reserve law enforcement program * Minimum of one year verifiable and successful security/correctional experience * Meaningful and verifiable work history eEmail Resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resum] with Position Title in Subject Line.
