Job Classification: Contract The Customer Care Representative (CCR) is the important first-line of contact with our customers, setting the tone for how members view our company and services; while providing participants with the right information at the right time to help them make better decisions about their health and health care. The CCR professionally handles a high volume of complex inbound calls from members to ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and accurately and in a manner that members are able to understand. While thoroughly and efficiently gathering participant information, assessing and fulfilling plan participant needs, and educating the participant where applicable to reduce the need for future contacts. The CCR may also handle a high volume of correspondence to include but not limited to emails, faxes and written letters that are to be resolved both promptly and accurately and in a manner that members are able to understand. Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the member experience. A CCR must also be able to effectively handle member complaints while consistently demonstrating behaviors that contribute to Cares achievement of service level goals. CCRs work collaboratively with internal/external business partners to provide solutions for members, by taking responsibility for following through and bringing outstanding issues to closure on the initial contact with the member. This is a fast paced deadline driven position that requires attention to detail, ability to multi-task while achieving departmental goals.
