Position Summary:

As a Director, Database Administration you will maintain database integrity and availability by setting and enforcing standards and troubleshooting problems.
Secure databases by developing policies, procedures, and controls
Update senior management of system performance and problems
Provide expertise in database technologies, methodologies, and data management
Manage projects
Communicate complex technical requirements in plain English with other departments
Manage department budget within defined guidance

Location: This position can be filled in either Houston, TX or Nashville, TN

Job Requirements

The Ideal Candidate will have:

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field. 7-9 years of experience in Database administration.
Experience with Data Maintenance, Database Management, Promoting Process Improvement, Presenting Technical Information, Database Design, Reporting Skills, Quality Focus, Technical Understanding, Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Requirements Analysis, Project Management
