Job Summary:
The successful candidate will support our Recruiting and On-Site offices for deaf candidates and employees. Interpreters will provide ASL translation for employment interviews, employee training, and business meetings.

This role requires flexibility, patience, excellent listening skills, empathy, attention to detail and a positive attitude. Tthe schedule is on-call and will be based upon our internal business need. Interpreters will work in a variety of locations including office and warehouse environments. This role will report into a local Human Resources team.

Essential Functions:

• Provide language translation for candidates and/or employees in a Recruiting Office and/or Orientation, Training or on-the-job at our client location.


• You will need to maintain professional ethics in all areas


• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with all employees and members of staff


• Ability to maintain confidentiality


• Available to work flexible hours as needed, hours may include day, night, weekend, and on short notice.
  

Job Requirements

• Current Certification in American Sign Language


• Prior experience interpreting in a work environment is preferable


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Strong interpersonal skills with both an hourly workforce and management population
