Immediate Supervisor: Director and/or Senior Director, Ethics & ComplianceJob Summary: This position will have the responsibility for assisting in the operation and oversight of the Companys Compliance program. The Senior Compliance Analyst will work closely with the Director and/or Senior Director, Ethics & Compliance, and hospital personnel to promote a culture of compliance within the organization. General Responsibilities:- Coordinate the performance of facility reviews to evaluate compliance in identified risk areas for hospitals, including physician relationships
- Assist in the performance of detailed compliance work plans
- Coordinate and monitor facility reporting obligations
- Assist in the review and distribution of policies and procedures
- Interact closely with Hospital Compliance Officers, Human Resource Directors, and Corporate Management on various compliance issues including Hotline Investigations
- Coordinate and monitor semi-annual screening requirements for employees, physicians, and contractors
- Research regulatory requirements and compliance developments in the health care industry
- Communicate with hospital leadership and corporate office leadership with a high level of professionalism and a service orientation
- Assist in special projects as needed
- Works with Department leadership to improve Department processes and to enhance overall compliance posture of the organization
- Maintains confidentiality in accordance with legal obligations, the Company Code of Conduct and the Code of Ethics for Healthcare Professionals adopted by the Health Care Compliance Association
- Demonstrates outstanding work ethic and works cooperatively with all team members and clients with a can-do spirit and team attitude
- Other duties as requested
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: (Experience, Education and Special Certifications)- Bachelors Degree
- Must have sufficient experience to work independently when needed
- Two years previous work experience in healthcare strongly preferred
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding work
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and be detail oriented
- Must be able to multi-task and work with deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word software
- Must be highly professional and client service oriented
- Willing to travel approximately 25%
