CDL Truck Driver – Bulk Transportation Driving – CDL Driver – Class A Drivers

 

Job Responsibilities

 

As a CDL Truck Driver you will be driving bulk trailers featuring the all the latest in driving technology including power steering, cruise control, heated mirrors and polished aluminum wheels.

 

Other responsibilities of the CDL Driver role include:

 

• Checking truck to ensure that equipment is in good working order
• Maintaining logs of driving hours
• Complying with applicable state and federal regulations
• Reporting defects, accidents or damages
• Checking in at weigh stations
• Obtaining receipts and signatures for delivered goods

 

CDL Truck Driver – Bulk Transportation Driving – Class A Drivers

 

Job Requirements

As a CDL Truck Driver with A&R Transport, you must be well organized with great communication skills and a positive attitude. We are looking for experienced drivers who are ready to grow in their career with a well-established company. You must be at least 21-years-old and have knowledge of basic safety driving regulations.

 

Other requirements of the Driver role include:

 

• Valid Class A CDL Commercial Driver’s license from state of residence
• 1+ year of recent over-the-road tractor/trailer experience with a regulated carrier
• No unexplained gaps in employment history over 30 days in the last three years
• No excessive number of jobs in the last three years
• Must successfully pass a minimum of a 6-month DOT physical, pre-placement drug screen and a company-required functional capacity test (“COEET")
• Full review of applicants Motor Vehicle Record, DAC and PSP
• No DUI / DWI , impaired driving or implied consent convictions within prior 6 years
• No more than 3 violations total within CSA’s Unsafe Driving and HOS Compliance BASICs within the prior 24 months
• No more than 2 Unsafe Driving convictions within the prior 18 months
• All 15+ mph over or Construction/Work Zone speeding violations within the past 3 years will be reviewed
• All reckless driving or careless driving convictions with the prior 3 years will be reviewed
• All felonies and other convictions that prohibit entry into Canada will be reviewed
• No more than 1 preventable accident/incident creating damage in the prior 24 months
