Immediate openings for Data Entry Clerks in Nashville at Franklin

Staffmark has a need for 26 Data Entry Clerks. These will be 2-3 month contracts. We need 5 Full Time Clerks, Monday - Friday; 7 Part Time Evening Clerks Monday - Friday and 14 Weekend Clerks.  Pay is $9.50 per hour on the day shifts and $10.45 per hour for the evening shift.

Job Description

Staffmark is currently seeking hard-working and dependable Data Entry Clerks for the mailroom of a premeire healthcare company in Nashville as they prepare for a new upcoming contract. 

 

 

Job Requirements

Position Summary:

• Responsible for inputting alpha/numeric data
• Proofing work for accuracy and completeness based on internal procedures
• Correcting or rejecting errors during visual inspection
• Maintaining accurate records for verification
• Provide feedback to the supervisor on system issues that could affect the productivity or quality of work and data entry
• Handling and management confidential information
• Performs basic data entry and form processing functions
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
• Mostly working in a sedentary position

 

Education/Experience

• High school diploma
• Strong data entry skills; 30 wpm with 99% data accuracy
• Previous experience with data entry preferred
• High attention to detail; accuracy and ability to work in a high volume atmosphere
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to multi-task and handle high volume mail.
• Strong work ethics and confidentiality

 

Physical Demands

This position is sedentary. It will require observing a computer screen 95% or more of the time. Please note, these contractors will be stationary for their entire shift entering personal/confidential information (PHI) so they may not use their cell phones or internet during work hours. The contractors will be logged into the company system for their entire shift to monitor their productivity levels. Employees must be able to adequately perform required job functions. This includes being able to lift, bend and move in such a way as to perform job tasks in a safe and approved manner. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, bend and walk for long periods of time and performs physical tasks such as lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.

Employees will work in a very confidential setting. No cell phones or other recording devices will be allowed in the production area.
