Job Description
Assist Trust Officers in the administration of Revocable, Irrevocable, Estate, Custody, and Guardianships Trust Accounts.Duties:
1. Communicate daily with trust clientele regarding liquidity needs, asset allocation, and portfolio performance.
Specific Duties include:
The distribution of funds by check, wire, or by direct deposit into checking and investment accounts at other Institutions upon direction of the customer and/or administrative officers request.
Initiate entries to pay bills for trust clientele.
Selling or transferring securities from the bank to other institutions and also receiving securities in the same manner.
Communicating with Trust Administrator regarding liquidity needs for living expenses, gifting purposes, and tax purposes.
Setting up quarterly, annual, and monthly distributions for customers and assuring that these transactions are complete, accurately and in a timely manner. This will involve setting up regular payments on the trust computer system. These payments are usually done via check or by direct deposit into the customers checking or investment account at another institution.
2. Coordinate Bank services for trust clientele as their needs may dictate. This may involve working with other areas of the bank in an effort to maintain an operational consistency between the customers trust services and his/her other banking needs.
This might involve working with Private Banking, Brokerage, Trust Support Services, and other internal departments in an effort to research problems, provide new services, enhance existing services, etc.
3. Support assigned trust administrators on estates, agencies trust, custodians, and guardianship accounts.
Involves following procedures for opening and closing trust accounts.
Specific duties would include the gathering and distribution of tangible and intangible assets. (stocks, bonds, cash, limited partnerships, and other assets)
Setting up statements on the trust system, which will enable customers to receive account information on annual, bi-annual, quarterly, or monthly basis.
Preparing court accountings and other documents in a timely manner.
Includes setting up appointments for administrators and customers.
Maintaining an operational consistency in the flow of information and assets.
Purge bills from trust files as required
Handle as many of the customers problems and inquiries at your job level without compromising customer satisfaction or incurring bank liability.
Make sure that customer records are correct on the system and that new information is added to and maintained correctly in the vault on file.
4. Other General Duties:
Serve as a liaison between the administrator and the customer and also as the liaison between these two parties with other areas of the bank.
Assist the administrator in daily duties such as faxing, copying, and delivering of documents, answering phones and serving in a back up role in the absence of the administrative officer.

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Requirements
High school diploma with two to four years of experience required.The 10 Qualities that a Personal Trust Associate must possess, The 10 Ms
Must be highly detail oriented
Must be able to prioritize and finish projects timely on a daily basis

Must be able to complete projects and daily tasks with little or limited

Must have basic computer skills and a good understanding of Microsoft office applications
