Qualifications:

In accordance with applicable state/federal and plan requirements, the incumbent is responsible for assisting in the administration of Erlanger Health Systems benftit plans. Ensures timely enrollment and/or changes for benefit plans, audits employee benefit invoices to ensure accuracy including reconciliation, processes employee changes, and partners with vendors to resolve service issues and assists employees with benefit issues or concerns. Oversees training and troubleshooting of the HRIS benefits module to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, and reports.

Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelors degree in HR, business or similar field required.

Experience Required:

Dynamic individual with in-depth knowledge of health and welfare plans, paid time-off benefits, retirement plans, including defined benefit, defined contribution plans, and regulatory requirements.

5+ years experience.

Knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations for health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, paid time-off, voluntary benefits and wellness initiatives.

Financial and quantitative analysis of benefit plans and costs.

Ability to collaborate and establish working relationships with coworkers in finance, internal audit and accounting.

Ability to meet deadlines and sort through information in order to resolve complex and abstract issues and reconcile complicated and detailed data.

Knowledge of Employee Retirement Income Savings Act (ERISA), Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), and relevant benefits legislation.

Preferred:

Project management experience is a plus.
Experience with Peoplesoft Benefits module is desirable.
Experience in a healthcare environment.
