Certified Medical Coder at Franklin

Job Description

Judge Healthcare is seeking Certified Medical Coders for one of our best clients in the Franklin, TN area!

 

This job will have the following responsibilities:

 

•  Perform coding for medical services (ICD-9, HCC and Risk Adjustment)

•  Identify and report quality concerns and errors to Clinical Process Quality Analyst for review and education.

•  Responsible for providing coding support to the Clinical Coding Nurses.

•  Performs all other related duties as assigned.

•  All Duties performed in-office; no traveling required

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

 

•  CPC, CCS, RHIT or RHIA Certification

•  2+ years of coding experience

•  Previous experience with diagnosis and outpatient coding highly preferred

•  HCC and Risk Adjustment Coding experience preferred

•  Coding for Cancer services a plus
