Job Description

Talascend is currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract opportunity located in Franklin, TN.

 

OVERVIEW:

Supports changes and enhancements from development through production; recommending and implementing system enhancements (e.g., screen appearance, report distribution and setup testing). Develops new program specifications to support specific customer needs and system upgrades, including new releases and resolves problems with current systems. Analyzes service requests to determine feasibility, extent of changes, resource requirements and project time estimates. Provides daily production support, including maintenance of routine production control parameters, completion of routine service requests and research problems. Associates degree OR equivalent experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with project preparation work to analyze, document and develop ROM in support of new project requests for the SAP Inventory to Cash, Procure to Pay and Plan to Report functions.
Document project requirements and high level designs. SDLC document for this task include – Project specification document, High Level Design document, Test Cases, etc..
Review and approve detail design documents.
Review and approve unit test review documents.
Review and approve system test documents.
Develop UAT test cases and ensure that they are documented in Quality Center.
Oversee test results of UAT and work with the business regarding any issues.
Work with the business to review and approve UAT.
Work with project team on implementation plan and schedule.
Assist Project Manager with necessary deliverables for IS PMO gate reviews. Such deliverables include project specification document, TEB forms, QA reports, Status reports, etc..

Job Requirements

 

 

Excellent English communication skills - both written and verbal. Ability to distill business processes to key functions and create process and data flow diagrams.
Analysis of process and data flows, identification of potential redundancies, overlaps in accountability, key decision points, etc.
Can identify opportunities to automate and/or improve an existing process.
Make recommendations for action plans or streamlining to improve business performance.
Develops high level budgets for assigned projects.
Participates in ROI and other financial analyses.
Technical: word, excel, visio, HP quality center, clarity is a plus.
Experience as a team member in at least one SAP implementation project cycle
