- Collaborate with internal customers collecting requirements, understanding and documentation of the current and future business needs Translate requirements gathered into a project plan or roadmap of projects Assist in developing the GAP analysis, and conceptual designs necessary to meet the business objectives Diagram business processes, complete business cases, understand business rules, conduct requests for proposals, completing decision matrices and working with vendors and contractors Elicit, analyze, communicate and validate business requirements Drive the project management and requirements management processes and ensure quality by designing, reviewing and executing test cases for software development efforts Drive/communicate status on all project related work Assists with prioritizing & understanding current business initiatives and identifying the opportunities where technology or automation can add business value Establish excellent working relationships with colleagues Effectively and proactively manage customer expectations, throughout the solution delivery process Translate technical information for a business audience Work with the customer and IT representatives to understand and document complex business needs Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Required: BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems or related field and 5+ years of business analyst experience managing and collecting business requirements (functional and non-functional) Minimum 5 years experience in supporting various aspects of functional business units (i.e. Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Product Development, Payroll/Benefits, etc.) High level of expertise and knowledge in various business processes and understanding of the underlying technologies Knowledgeable of various Software Development Lifecycle methodologies and requirement gathering techniques Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Visio, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project) Good organizational and time management skills Strong communication skillsDesired: Masters in Business Administration Financial Background experience from a Shared Services perspective IT infrastructure systems deployment Indirect procurement processes and shared services implementation is a plus.
