!*!This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. As an SSUA you will be responsible for supporting the Study Start Up Group by reviewing and negotiating Investigator contracts, budgets and related documents, ensuring timely completion and submission to ICON personnel, Investigators and Sponsors. Overview of the role- Review and negotiate Investigator contracts and budgets.- Maintain communication with Investigative sites, Sponsors, and ICON personnel, regarding contracts and contract-related documents.- Prepare and/or oversee preparation of contractual documents and correspondence.- Liaise with project managers, investigative site personnel, legal office and sponsors.- Provide status reports to appropriate leaders/managers to update the progress of the agreements.- Facilitate the indemnification process between Sponsor and site, as required for a given study.- Consult with Project Managers, Sponsors project leaders and other appropriate personnel on contract language/budget development and negotiations, special site requests outside of established parameters, and all other pertinent information toward the execution of contract-related documents for a given study.- Utilize and update departmental, study specific and sponsor required systems, as applicable, regarding Investigator contracts and related documents and status.- Maintain open/professional communication with sites, Sponsors and ICON employees to assist finalizing study Agreements.- Undertake other reasonably related duties as may be assigned from time to timeJob Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or local equivalent and/or appropriate experience from the Legal/Medical/science background and/or discipline
- Previous relevant experience
- Experience and/or understanding of clinical study start up requirements and activities
- An excellent level and proven experience high standards of attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Competent computer skills
- Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore, dependent on the employees location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Drivers license.
