Employs Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish business objectives. Works with Six Sigma-certified professionals as well as business leaders in the planning, designing, and accomplishing of key projects. This position will include (but not limited to) the following responsibilities:Analyze and investigatesProvides explanations and interpretations within area of expertiseWork with a team to provide end to end continuous improvementUtilizes appropriate resources to ensure timely integrated and effective reporting to meet business needs.Develops effective partnerships with peers and associatesEstablishes credibility with leaders, individuals and teamsBreaks down organizational barriers to ensure continuity of metric and dataMotivates and involves stakeholders to help implement and support changeMonitors and analyzes data and trends to identify potential opportunities, needs, issues, and problems that could impact business resultsNo industry is moving faster than health care. BA/BS degree and or combination of education and Six Sigma experienceGreen Belt certification required; Black Belt and/or Master Black Belt certification strongly preferredLEAN Experience required3+ years experience in Six Sigma process improvement and analysis experience3+ years internal and or external management consulting experience preferredIntermediate skills in MS Suite and Minitab preferredIndustrial Engineering background preferredHealthcare experience a plusIntermediateto advance MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPointDemonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely and to ability to facilitate meetings.Demonstrated time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities UnitedHealth Group is working to create the health care system of tomorrow.
