*This is a hand-on administrative job, not an audit/functional position
The role of the Security Administrator is to ensure that all systems are protected from unauthorized access.
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires BS/BA in related discipline (i.e., Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems) and 5-7 years of experience in related field (i.e., Information Security). Will consider additional industry experience in lieu of degree.
- Five to seven (5-7) years of direct technical information security experience at the enterprise level is required.
- Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus software, data encryption, and other industry standard techniques and practices.
- 5 -7 years of hands on experience troubleshooting large scale network environments and conducting security risk assessments is preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Functional understanding of SSAE16, PCI, and ISO27001 certifications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and breakdown complex situations in a systematic manner.
- Knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC), and various methods of integrating security in the SDLC
- Knowledge of ISO 17799 / 27001 / 27002, PCI, SOX, and other state and federal information security / privacy laws
- CISSP, CISM, CPTE/CPTS
