FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER - $45-50k Salary Plus Benefits

Franklin/Cool Spring TN

 

20 year old, multiple year Inc 500 winning Company with a proven track record and plans for immediate and extensive growth.

 

We are looking for an experienced individual with a proven track record of accomplishment in all elements of hands-on accounting support in a fast-paced environment.  The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for applying required financial controls and preparing accurate and timely financial reports as needed. He or she will also support our production team with auditing and preparation of customer billing.

 

• Set up new vendor accounts as needed.
• Pay vendor invoices when due and take all discounts available.
• Insure that vendor invoices are recorded to their proper GL accounts.
• Insure that the AP subsidiary ledger matches the General ledger.
• Set up new customer accounts as needed.
• Audit completed project files.
• Prepare and distribute customer invoices.
• Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements.
• Collect sales taxes from customers and remit them as required.
• Contact delinquent customers to insure that payments are made when due.
• Insure that the AR subsidiary ledger matches the General ledger.
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
• Monitor office supply levels and reorder as necessary.
• Reconcile bank and merchant service accounts.
• Reconcile Company credit card accounts.
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
• New software will be required to learn, candidate MUST be computer savvy
• Create journal entries.
• Maintain and monitor monthly expense accruals.
• Prepare monthly financial statements.
• Prepare quarterly balance sheet analysis
• Prepare annual financial information for CPA tax return preparation.
• There is potential to advance in this position if skillset is proven
• Looking for a trusted advisor and watchdog for the CEO
• Looking for someone who is confident and extremely detailed
• Need to have the ability to manage others and be firm
