Position: Business System Analyst /COBOL

Requirements:

•  6-10 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst role.

•  Candidate will possess strong communication, documentation, analytical, and data gathering skills.

•  Must have Application development experience.

•  Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience

•  Automotive experience a plus 

In addition, the Business System Analyst will be responsible for the following:

•  Requirements gathering working with business end users

•  High level design

•  Capable of reviewing detail designs

•  Developing and reviewing test plans (unit, system, integration, user acceptance)

•  Create implementation plan

•  Incident and Problem Management

•  Change Management

•  Automotive experience a plus

•  Systems Development Life Cycle SDLC

•  COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, TSO, CICS, Endevor

•  Oracle, SQL and Relational Databases

•  Middleware experience (such as Informatica, Websphere MQ, Hostbridge, Federation Server) a plus

Job Description:

The IS Analyst ideally has experience working and leading enhancement projects with third party vendors, including offshore engagements. Candidate should be a self-starter who can effectively work independently by prioritizing demand, and also be a team player when needed to work as part of a larger group. As necessary, performs any other relevant duties to aid in the success of the organization.
