Delivery Driver at Jackson

Job Description

As a Delivery Driver, you will, working in tandem with a Route Sales Representative, be the “face" of the company to our customers.  You will bring parts to their shop and in general represent the company in a professional manner.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Drives a company box truck to deliver salvage parts to customer locations
• Physically loads truck at the branch and verifies the condition of the truck, manifest and other paperwork associated with deliveries to be made
• Drives to delivery destination and physically unloads truck, verifies parts unloaded and picks up returned parts as necessary
• Collects customer payments as necessary
• Back-up to the warehouse staff in warehousing duties

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

 

• Must have valid state drivers license with minimal violations
• Good attention to detail for verifying accuracy of parts picked up and delivered
• Dependability to be at work every day and on time
• Forklift experience is beneficial
• Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
