Manufacturing Applications Developer

 

Location: Memphis, TN

Cook Systems International is seeking a strong Applications Developer to work in Memphis. This is a permanent position. Seeking candidates ASAP. 

 

Summary

• The Applications Developer is responsible for software support and development for all aspects of a manufacturing environment that operates practices of MTS, MTO, CTO and ETO in over 50 facilities world-wide.

 

Responsibilities

• Analyze production, inventory control, distribution, manufacturing, cost analysis, finance, marketing, human resources and other business functions in order to develop new or modified information processing systems

• Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes and corrections
• Adhere to all software quality assurance standards as prescribed by TNB management

 

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related area
• 7+ years experience related to key responsibilities
• Advanced level of ability with Microsoft office products
• Strong collaboration skills with ability to interface with the internal and external user community as well as all levels within the organization
• Proficiency in
• RPG IV/DB2/AS-400/SEQUEL/Crystal
• Turnover/PeekPlus/DBU
• Visual RPG.Net/VPS

• Experience supporting INFOR manufacturing software products; ERP/LX, ERP/LN, Syteline preferred
• Knowledge of Oracle financial software (GL, AP, AR) preferred
• Experience in the development and support of IBM Websphere tools
