Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Research and resolve broker compensation issues, either independently or with guidance from more experienced team members. Will often partner with other business areas with a focus on both specific case resolution and future service problem prevention as appropriate

Respond to inquiries and service requests from brokers, field offices, and other Home Office business partners

Work effectively and collaboratively with internal partners to ensure service standards and customer needs are met.

Develop on-going internal and external relationships

Develop an awareness of departmental reports and data and the appropriate action steps for resolution

Actively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement and identification of workflow improvements

Able and willing to accept a level of accountability for teams service results

May perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• 4 year degree preferred or Associates degree with 1-2 years relevant work experience OR equivalent work experience
• General knowledge of:
  • systems used to administer broker compensation
  • historical and current broker compensation arrangements
  • specific lines of business, across companies
• Demonstrates strong leadership and role model attributes on a consistent basis
• Good mathematical, analytical & process analysis skills
• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills
• Strong PC skills, must be able to work in multiple systems
• Strong organizational & prioritization skills
• Strong level of personal accountability
• Ability to operate in a high pace, high stress, multi-tasking environment
• Team Player
• Listening skills
• High level of professionalism
