The Warehouse Employee reports to the appropriate Warehouse Supervisor. The personnel leader is the Director of Warehouse.

Another Warehouse Employee will fill-in during an absence.

Position Objectives
To fulfill the distribution functions performed within the warehouse necessary to service the division stores.

To fulfill his/her responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s principles of leadership and organization the Aldi Management System.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently and within Aldi warehouse policy and procedures
• Act and decide independently within the delegated area of responsibility
• To work in a manner that is consistent with the policies and procedures as outlined in the warehouse employee handbook

Job Requirements

Warehouse Employee
Education and Experience

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Skill of selecting products efficiently and accurately
• Ability to move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare product for store deliveries; ability to place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment in a safe and proper manner
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards for cleanliness
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret and/or apply Aldi warehouse operating policies and procedures
• Skill in verbal and written communication
• Skill of performing basic arithmetic equations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Ability to follow instruction and give attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
