POSITION CRITERIA
Provide the primary point of contact for the Industrial Hose Customer.
Recommend appropriate product for the application.
Quote price.
Enters new orders and order changes from customers, with emphasis on error-free order management and proactive customer communication.
Works with counterparts in GSSC (Pune) and follows established business processes.
Proactively communicate with the customer regarding order status.
Communicates proactively with planning and scheduling to verify lead times, schedule customer orders according to their delivery needs and communicate special handling requests.
Communicates in a timely manner with external customers about order verification, order status, pricing and shipment status.
Perform up-selling when possible.
Maintains accurate and organized customer communication files and quote follow ups.
Provides customers with detailed product information, including alternative product selections and up selling opportunities.
Analyzes and reports sales of assigned accounts / product lines and works with outside sales to create action plans.
Assists in processing of emergency and/or expedited orders and shipments.
Drives ease of doing business and customer loyalty.
Fosters an environment which promotes Eatons goals and philosophy, encourages continuous improvement and builds customer relationships
Outbound calling and communication to support marketing campaigns and sales strategy.
Coordinates closely with assigned sales team. Has sales responsibility for small accounts.
Assists in the preparation of sales forecasts by customer and by product.
Assists with inventory management. Actively involved in the reduction of random lengths and slow moving inventory.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.Minimum 1 year of experience in field sales or supporting field sales.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on an on-going basis without company sponsorship.
