Accounting Manager-International. Ozburn-Hessey Logistics, LLC, Brentwood, TN. Responsible for performing corporate accounting, reporting and control functions for the international entities of OHLI while managing accounting personnel. Prepares and analyzes accounting records and account reconciliations to ensure completeness and compliance with statutory and US GAAP requirements for international entities. Communicates with personnel to resolve accounting issues and assists in understanding and eliminating accounting discrepancies. Provides audit support. Prepares monthly accounting consolidation and works with stations to ensure accurate reporting. Prepares cash flow statement and ad hoc reporting, variance and trend analysis for OHLIs international entities. Establishes tables of accounts and assigns entries to proper accounts and ensures consistency in its use. Develops, documents and implements recordkeeping, controls and accounting procedures. Manages employees; interviewing, hiring, training, evaluation, coaching. Bachelors in Accounting or Finance plus of 5 years of accounting exp., or Masters in Accounting or Finance plus 3 years of accounting exp. to include 3 years of supervisory exp., 1 year in international business including statutory and GAAP accounting, 1 year with ERP accounting system. Must have PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. Requires occasional travel to domestic and international locations.
