Procurement Buyer-Food and Beverages at Nashville

Job Description

Volt has partnered with a respected Nashville hotel that is looking for a Procurement Buyer for Food and Beverages. This position is responsible for day to day activities associated with procuring, work products, and deliverables as defined by the process procedures and in accordance with company policies.

Buyer will be working with the other procurement and hotel staff.

Will be responsible for processing all orders for Food and Beverages.

Will follow up on all purchase orders. Maintain procurement systems, data relating to product specifications, purchase requisitions, bid submittals, purchase orders relating to Food and Beverages.

Responsible for uploading of bids.

Maintain and updates vendors/item catalog content data in order to ensure that accurate and quality data is available to the end-user.

Ensures accurate and timely delivery of all orders.

Maintains customer service of the highest standards to our internal and external guests regarding orders and delivery of product to hotel.

Job Requirements

Successful candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Knowledge of Adaco and Epicor systems
• Experience in Meat, Poultry. Seafood, Produce, Pastry, and Dry Goods.
• Specialty Products, Wine, Spirits, Beer and Beverages
• Ability to work with a team or work independently
• Ability to have strong communication skills and build relationships
• Effective organizational and communication skills
• Associates Degree
