Project Manager (Mountain Management Services) Full Time - First Shift (2525001704) at Chattanooga

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, general oversight, and overall success of operational projects for the Memorial Physician Enterprise. The PC will lead implementation of new operational projects developed by MMS Administration and facilitate communication and feedback through responsible parties to ensure project success and completion.

Essential Duties:

Capable of handling multiple diverse and complex assignments concurrently.

Experience with shifting priorities, demands and time lines

Manage project teams, define scope, develop and manage project plans and project budgets. (across multiple simultaneous projects)

Facilitate weekly and as needed operational meetings for the Directors and MMS Administrative Team, ensuring the smartsheet Gantt Chart containing current projects is up-to-date and complete.

Facilitate and lead any short-term projects that are presented by the MMS Administrative team and ensure timelines and objectives are met effectively.

Assist in the creation of Corporate Health proposals for new business benefitting MMS and MHCS and ensuring timely delivery prior to deadlines.

Maintain privacy and confidentiality in and out of the workplace.

Responsible for the maintenance and general upkeep of the computerized MMS Best Practice Policy Manual.

Perform all other duties as assigned by the Senior Administration and Directors of MMS.

Job Requirements

Education:
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree is preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of four years experience in the healthcare industry or healthcare experience or other related industry expertise.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and applications, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Publisher.
  • Skills:
  • Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems and objectives.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and applications, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Publisher.
  • Skilled in planning and organizing, including knowledge and use of smartsheet Gantt Chart reporting system.
  • Skilled in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving, and decision-making.
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining effective relationships with the medical and administrative staff, hospital executives, office managers, and co-workers.
  • Typing 50 wpm.
  • Excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
