Job: Materials Management Supply Chain & Logistics

JOB TITLE Procurement Specialist IIGENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES Facilitates enrollment of each physician practice location with our GPO (Healthtrust Purchasing Group (HPG)), provides ongoing support to internal and external customers for all purchasing-related activities, performs vendor setups, balances daily AP activity, works AP vendor exception reports, and reviews all one-time payments.SUPERVISOR Accounting ManagerSUPERVISES NoneDUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO Ensures that all physician practice locations are rostered members of our GPO (HPG) Facilitates enrollment of all physician practice locations with our major contracted vendors Fosters robust business relationship with AdvantageTrust to help notify physician practices of all contracted vendors and the products/services they offer Prepares monthly Vendor Spend reports Posts monthly HPG Admin Fee and Rebate Reports and membership rosters for physician practices Provides support to Accounts Payable by researching outstanding invoices from select contracted vendors Conducts research into product or service utilization for vendor selection process or other project work Enters COID setup information for new practices into SMART Completes AP daily balancing Reviews 2% of daily volume of invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance Maintains hard-copy documents related to 1099 vendors Researches vendors that appear on the monthly Sanction Check report and reports suspect vendors to appropriate Area Practice Manager and Ethics and Compliance department Confirms the presence and completeness of all appropriate vendor forms and documentation, then processes vendor setups Enters banking information for electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments Performs related work as assigned Practices and adheres to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement

Job Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Working knowledge of materiels management and supply chain principles Knowledge of organization policies and procedures Knowledge of computer applications such as MS Outlook, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, word processing, and basic database use Skill in mathematical calculations Skill in verbal and written communication Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers Ability to communicate clearlyEDUCATION A Bachelors degree in business or related field is desiredEXPERIENCE One years experience in materiels management preferred.
