Job Description
The Corporate Auditor/Sr Corporate Auditor will be responsible for utilize audit procedures to perform effective, independent and objective audits identifying risks, vulnerabilities, weaknesses, etc. and recommend corrective and preventative actions.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform on-site financial operational audits of departments, divisions, subsidiaries, domestic and foreign manufacturing plants, foreign sales branches, affiliates, licensees and other company-owned or associated facilities.
- Verify that accounting records are accurate and factual and that the company’s best practices are safeguarded.
- Perform report writing that address key issues noted during audit.
- Develop recommendations for cost reduction, profit generation and operational efficiency improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Position will require significant travel up to 75%.
- ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES SR COPRORATE AUDITOR:
- Manage audit teams in their development of development of audit plans, desk audits, execution of field work, and preparation and issuance of the audit report.
Job Requirements
Required:
- Corporate Auditor: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering or other related discipline and 6 plus years of practical work experience in public accounting or in the accounting/finance areas of business enterprise OR MBA with 4 plus years of practical work experience in public accounting or in the accounting/finance areas of business enterprise.
- Senior Corporate Auditor: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering or other related discipline and minimum of 8 years of practical work experience in public accounting or in the accounting/finance areas of business enterprise OR MBA with 6 plus years of practical work experience in public accounting or in the accounting/finance areas of business enterprise.
