Emdeon is currently seeking hard-working and dependable Data Entry/Verify Operators for the mailroom as we prepare for a new upcoming contract. 

 

Position Summary:

• Responsible for inputting alpha/numeric data
• Proofing work for accuracy and completeness based on internal procedures
• Correcting or rejecting errors  during visual inspection
• Maintaining accurate records for verification
• Provide feedback to the supervisor on system issues that could affect he productivity or quality of work
• Handling and management confidential information
• Performs basic data entry and form processing functions
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
• Mostly working in a sedentary position

 

Job Requirements

• High school diploma
• Strong data entry skills; 30 words/minute with 99% data accuracy
• Previous experience with data entry preferred
• High attention to detail; accuracy and ability to work in a high volume atmosphere
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to multi-task and handle high volume mail.
• Strong work ethics and confidentiality

 

Physical Demands:

This position is sedentary.  It will require observing a computer screen 95% or more of the time.  Employees must be able to adequately perform required job functions.  This includes being able to lift, bend and move in such a way as to perform job tasks in a safe and approved manner.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, bend and walk for long periods of time and performs physical tasks such as lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.

 

Work Environment:

Employees will work in a very confidential setting.  No cell phones or other recording devices will be allowed in the production area.  Employees may frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and loud noise levels.
