Regional Health Informatics and Information Management Director HIIM Director

Location: Nashville, TN

Client:

• Leading Acute Care Hospital System

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating Health Informatics and Information services (HIIM) across the healthcare system
• Implement and support all corporate HIIM activities
• Provide support to HIIM Departments at the facility level for Department operations, reimbursement opportunities, various program implementation, and HIIM specific system installations
• Develops and deploys health information management systems as part of the healthcare systems overall information system plan

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Certification as an RHIA or RHIT required
• Minimum of five years acute-care management experience in HIIM
• Consulting experience preferred
• Experience in small to mid-size hospitals
• Experience in project management
• Preferred knowledge of information systems and healthcare applications in addition to database applications and report writing software
• Preferred experience with electronic record
