Job Description
National property management company has an opening for a Community Manager for an apartment community in Antoich, TN.
The Community Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the property. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated. This position requires a hands-on management approach.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the building interior and exterior are in good condition.
- Maintain accurate records, including resident files.
- Ensure maximum occupancy.
- Consistently monitor marketing and make recommendations for changes.
- Show available apartments to prospective residents, process applications, and complete move-in paperwork.
- Collect rents and handle delinquent accounts.
- Ensure each move in and move out are conducted per company policy and all related paperwork is processed in a timely manner.
- Effectively communicate with residents and resolve residents’ concerns.
- Supervise outside contractors working on property.
- Assist with developing and implementing property budget. Ensure maintenance of all necessary records for financial transactions of the property.
- Other projects as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing apartments as Property Manager
- High school education or its equivalent.
- Proficient use of office equipment and office software programs
- Yardi experience preferred
- Ability to work well with and understand the problems of residents.
