PHP Engineer / Software Developer

Job Responsibilities

As a PHP Engineer you will work with us as we create a new dynamic web application to allow our clients to interface with us in addition to working on improving our video marketplace and our other properties. These high-visibility applications will leverage our platform APIs over JSON WS calls to provide an easy to use and compelling experience to our clients.

Specific responsibilities:

Diagnosing and fixing bugs

Generating technical solutions to creative challenges

Evaluating code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems

Analyzing user needs to determine technical requirements

Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types

PHP Engineer / Software Developer

Job Requirements

If you are a creative and passionate PHP Engineer with strong object oriented design and coding skills, this is the position for you! Also having experience with writing Magento Modules and with Web Services will be extremely beneficial to you in this position.

Specific requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

4+ years of professional experience developing software with PHP

Proven use with a popular PHP Framework (CodeIgniter, Symfony, Zend, CakePHP)

Experience writing web applications

Ability to write JavaScript (primarily with jQuery)
