Job Classification: Direct Hire Aerotek is partnering with a leading automotive manufacturer to recruit and hire a skilled mechanical designer. This person will be working under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor in the mechanical engineering department. In addition to creating new drawings for mechanical product, the successful candidate will also be responsible for managing a dynamic database for engineering drawings and quality assurance documents. He/She will also be responsible for coordinating CAD systems maintenance from a software and hardware standpoint, and managing the M.E. database. The successful candidate will exhibit the following abilities:-Proficiency in Solidworks design software-Familiarity with AutoCAD-Proficiency in MS Excel with prior experience managing databases in a manufacturing environment-Knowledge of automotive quality documentation practices/systemsInterested candidates are encouraged to apply via this posting and email Kevin Tolliver a cover letter and an updated resume detailing interest and pertinent qualifications.
