The District Manager will be responsible for driving the companys key performance indicators while delivering an exceptional store experience for customers by providing effective leadership to store employees. This position is responsible for communicating the business needs of both the district and the company in order to drive results, while also holding the stores within the district accountable for executing all operational responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Work strategically with Regional Management to drive revenue of assigned district in a highly performance based environment
- Analyze audit findings and provide training opportunities for field employees.
- Establish and lead the execution of district business strategies to drive store Key Performance Indicator (KPI) results to maximize performance and achieve sales plans and goals
- Strategize and collaborate with department heads to develop and maintain annual budgets, keeping monetary spending within the parameters of the committed budget.
- Perform monthly on-site visits of all stores in district to provide ongoing coaching and development, thereby maximizing the potential of each store and providing support in areas for improvement
- Recruit and identify qualified team members, provide training and maintain a current succession plan
- Ensure all store goals are met and/or exceeded as set forth by the Company
- Maintain effective verbal and written communication between the stores, the Regional Manager, and the corporate office
- Multi-unit operational experience a must
- Three to five years of experience at a District Manager level or above
- Financial management responsibility including P&L and budgets is required
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple task/projects
- Management of 8-10 locations and up to 10 direct reports preferred
- Willing to train in an existing market for no less than 6 months
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required
- *Must be open to relocate to any territory in the state of Tennessee.
