Job Description

L.A.W. Publications is the nations largest distributor of drug and safety education materials. We work with local law enforcement departments in 40 states to provide drug and safety educational materials to children, teens and parents at no cost to the departments. Materials are provided through the sales of sponsorship advertisement to the local businesses and professionals in the community, who are recognized in display advertisement in a drug and safety publication.

We are seeking an outgoing and dynamic Advertising Sales Representative to manage our renewal accounts and expand our sales in theNashville area, a territory that has been extensively developed for over 30 years. As an Advertising Sales Representative with L.A.W. Publications, you will have an endorsement letter for each local police department or sheriffs office project. Specific duties of the Advertising Sales Representative include:

Traveling overnight within a 400 mile radius around Nashville

Managing existing accounts and ensuring the 75-80% renewal rate is maintained

Establishing new advertising sponsorship accounts

Job Responsibilities

As an Advertising Sales Representative with L.A.W. Publications, you will explain to sponsors how an ad with us will help promote their business in a positive way. Additional responsibilities of the Advertising Sales Representative include:

Preparing and delivering sales presentations to new and existing customers

Informing clients of available advertising options

Providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process

Job Requirements

As an Advertising Sales Representative with L.A.W. Publications, you must have dependable transportation, the willingness and ability to travel and an outgoing personality. Outside sales experience is preferred, but we will train the right person.
