Job Classification: Contract This role is responsible for managing regional data centers for their assigned continents and is accountable for ensuring sufficient capacity and operation of existing data center infrastructure. This position requires advance knowledge of data center concepts and will contribute ideas to and carry out Data Center Strategy. Knowledgeable of Data Center IT Operations, including a thorough understanding of data center design principles, industry best practices, emerging data center technologies. Define and validate data center infrastructure architecture, standards creation, and technology design reviews within both IT and Facilities organizations. Ability to manage infrastructure and enable monitoring, business driven solutions, capacity management, configuration management, high availability, efficiency management; operational review and governance. Collect and communicate in business terms, the business requirements for physical data center and server room capacity in varied medium/large office environments as well as those supporting a larger enterprise internationally. Experience with the setup, installation, maintenance, monitoring, and upgrades of power and cooling systems including UPS, and generator. Join TEKsystems and get your career on the fast track.
