COMMERCIAL PRODUCER/EDITOR
WZTV FOX 17/WNAB CW 58/WUXP My TV 30, Nashville

FOX 17, MYTV 30 and CW 58 in Nashville, TN are looking for a full-time Commercial Producer/Editor to join our creative team. Were looking for a Team Player who can help add to our already creative staff!

The applicant who fills this position will create, conceptualize, script, shoot and edit cutting edge commercials for our clients. AVID, After Effects and Photoshop skills are a must, plus extensive shooting and scripting of short form spots.

Requirements:

• Ability to write, shoot, and edit content that tells a compelling story
• Possess a strong understanding of fundamental design, a strong sense of color, typography, and composition
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats
• Maintain a variety of projects and work with varying production styles while employing strong client service skills
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of HD Cameras and videography, motion graphics and creative lighting techniques
• Exhibit advanced editing experience
• Must be able to lift and move equipment over 70 lbs on a regular basis
• Great communication skills and the ability to work well with all levels of clients and personalities
• College degree preferred

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate production, including working with clients, account executives and agencies
• Meet all deadlines, fulfill scheduling commitments and consistently achieve quick turnarounds in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
• Occasional weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts will be required.
• Extended periods of standing, sitting or physical activity will occasionally be require.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
