POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing and Broker Assistant is the primary marketing contact for the company and is responsible for the marketing and promotion of the company and the properties it has listed.  This position serves Management (defined as President, and Vice-President) as a marketing and broker assistant.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Acts as back up for the Administrative and Operations Coordinator when she is out or away from her desk by answering phones and greeting/directing office visitors.
Must be willing to obtain a Real Estate License to assist Leasing Agents with listing properties and quoting rate information and possible showing of a property or space.
Responsible for running property searches, setting appointments for showings and assisting Leasing agents with any potential clients.
Maintains company web-site, Facebook and other on-line marketing sites. 
Acquires knowledge of market statistics and demographics for all property types listed and or managed.
Maintains LoopNet, Xceligent, CoStar, Business Journal, Craigs List and all other databases for listing information on available properties.
Maintains inventory, location and installation of property signs.
Prepares, updates, and maintains all marketing materials for available listings.
Creates and writes ads for publication.
Drafts marketing and advertising budget for approval.
Maintains broker database and all contact lists for leasing and marketing.
Under direction of the President/Managing Broker, maintains real estate licenses and displays properly
Prepares lease abstracts for new tenant files, updates rent roll data along with circulating lease information to other departments as needed to complete.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent to a 4-year college degree
Minimum of two years marketing office administrative experience
Currently holds a license in real estate or ability to pursue license
Ability to understand lease language and terms
Proficient in all Microsoft Office products (word, excel, outlook, publisher)
Strong organization skills; detail oriented
Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills; portrays confidence in both
Ability to work well with others, give and take direction and to interface with decision makers in a professional manner

  • Exhibit a distinct and undeniable passion for technology and for getting things done
  • Bachelor of Computer Science of Computer Engineering from 4-year University (Masters preferred)
  • Windows programming experience
  • Proficiency with the following: C#, C++ (MFC), Visual Basic
  • Five years related experience
  • Ability to collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Know advanced mathematical concepst such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations
  • Apply frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, anaylsis of variance, correlations, sampling theory, and factor analysis
  • Develop advanced algorithms for machine control and calibration
  • Windows Mobile development experience desired
  • Familiarity with multiple phases of SDLC
  • Verification and Validation Testing experience desired
  • Experience with nuclear instrumentation design and development
  • Experience with ORTEC products
  • Proficiency with any of the following would be a plus: Fortran, XML, InstallShield, WPF, ESRI, SilkTest, VMWare
