Supply Chain Manager
A division of a global manufacturing organization is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead a world class supply chain team. This is a highly visible role and an exciting opportunity for an experience Supply Chain Manager.
SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Managers goal is to ensure that the companys supply chain is functioning effectively and in a timely manner in order to ensure an excellent customer experience. The position requires strong management experience, a true leader. Experience with Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Statistical Analysis and very strong ERP systems knowledge.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct the production, planning and scheduling for the facility
Conduct capacity planning and provide input to manufacturing regarding anticipated equipmentor manpower capacity issues associated with these facilities in their handling of new product and also in the various requirements for handling and reprocessing of used product.
Oversee all aspects of inventory levels for bulk, raw materials, packaging, and finished goods at the production facilities and warehouse
Analyze demand requirements to identify any production or supply bottlenecks and recommend actions for resolution and cost improvement to optimize internal filling as compared to the sourcing of finished goods shipped from suppliers to ship directly to warehouses throughout the U.S.
Create and maintain a master schedule supporting sales forecasts, including establishing lead-times for all materials (both production and inventory stock) to assure coast to coast on-time performance availability and during seasonal fluctuations.
Coordinate with purchasing department, sales, and other teams to strengthen supply chain and improve efficiencies.
Evaluate and recommend actions to improve on-time delivery performance to the customer
EDUCATION
BS or BA degree. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
MUST have at least three years experience as a Supply Chain manager in a Manufacturing facility
Four to six years of experience at a managerial level (including staff management) with broad supply chain responsibilities
Four to six total years of experience in Supply Planning, Materials, Procurement, and Logistics
Experience in an ERP/Advanced Planning System environment and familiarity with a broad variety of supply chain concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to engage in collaborative problem-solving efforts with senior management and external contacts regarding supply chain issues as well as accounting and financial issues.
Strong leadership and communications skills.
Demonstrated experience implementing lean concepts preferred (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, lean processes, Kanban, etc.)
APICS or similar professional certification preferred.

Salary range $90-$100k depending on experience
