High Level Job Description:

The Inbound and New Media Sales Representative is responsible for handling all inbound sales calls for the Word Print sales department. Representative will check each customers account to see if they are on a membership plan, and will up-sell products and memberships whenever possible. The Representative will assist Outbound Representatives with order entry andwith generating leads, as well as assuming other account maintenance duties as requested by the Director of Sales. This position will conduct outbound sales calls when inbound call volume is down, primarily in regards to choral club renewals. Additionally, the person in this position will maintain a Word Music presence on any applicable New Media sites.

Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:

Facilitate incoming sales calls, and up-sell products and memberships during every possible conversation.

Assist outbound team members with order entry and other sales duties

Provide consistent, professional and timely service to all customers

Assist in making outbound sales calls when deemed appropriate by the Director of WMMR

Create and grow Word Music presence on new media sites

Train new representatives on Oracle order entry

Assist marketing team as needed with data entry and other marketing needs

Required Competencies/Skills:

Must have sales experience and/or customer service experience

Must have general knowledge of Christian music

Must have experience with choirs and/or praise and worship teams

Must have specific familiarity with Word choral print music products

Must have experience with Oracle order entry module

Special Requirements/Preferences:

Must have specific knowledge of church music and church music programs

Excellent alpha & numeric keyboarding skills

Familiarity with new media outlets

Basic knowledge of reading and interpreting printed music.

Education Required/Preferred:

Bachelors degree preferred
