IT Project Lead at Memphis

Duties

• The nature of the work is focused on the company s computer and telephony technology tools used to create, store, exchange, and use all forms of information.
• Optimize the capability of the IT infrastructure and services to deliver cost effective and sustained level of application availability.
• Develop complex tools and processes in the support of continuity management.
• Executes tests for system continuity, as well as design, test, and implement monitoring tools and processes.
• Write procedures to respond to results so system issues are brought to resolution.
• Collect metrics over a long term for trending.
• Performs complex work to install hardware and software taking proactive steps to assure success.
• Devises process and procedure for applying and maintaining security settings and user access based on technology platform.
• Recommends improvements as indicated based on analysis of current techniques and perceived imperfections.
• Primary focus will be managing Project and Intiatives within the American Continents and working with our local Technology Services Managers within the Geo on localized projects as well as partnering with Enterprise Engineering and Architecture Teams on Global intiatives
• This individual will work directly with the ACIS Network Engineer as well as the Server/Storage Engineer for the American Continents and will sit at the Shelby facility with them.

Technical Skills/Expertise

• Looking for a candidate who has a strong skillset in the Network Engineering sector as well as Server/Storage.
• Should be well versused in WAN, LAN, Wireless, Internet Egress Technologies as well as general Network troubleshooting and Project Management skills.
• Effective communication skills and able to manage multiple projects at a given time and partner with our ITO partners within the Network Technology space.
• Candidates should also have a good working knowledge of Server/Storage Technologies VMware, Storage Area Networks EMC, NetApp, HP 3PAR, etc. , HYPER-V, Windows and Linux OS Platforms, etc.

Education

• Bachelors Degree and minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
