Production Planner 6555-18299 at Chattanooga

Job Description:

An industry leader in Industrial Manufacturing has an immediate need for a Production Planner in their Chattanooga facility. The Production Planner will be responsible for planning all shop floor production as well as planning models and certain projects.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning using level load fixed scheduling
• Communicate and coordinate with production supervisors
• Execute and work with production supervisors to ensure schedules are met
• Participate in continuous improvement related to production planning, inventory management and customer service
• Schedule replacement and repairs of tools as necessary
• Participate in inventory at the facility

Requirements:

• BS Required
• 3+ years Planning Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• APICS Certification
• Knowledge of ERP Software and JD Edwards
