GENERAL SUMMARY The Industrial Engineer II position is responsible for performing time studies on the lines to determine bottleneck operations based on customer requirements, listing, and analyzing improvement items per technician, determining waste to reduce/eliminate, determining plan to reduce the bottleneck operation and increase output, calculating standard times for routings per part number, reviewing/improving layouts for most efficient flow and help determine best manning per line for increasing efficiency of line. Position will work with Manufacturing Engineers on line issues to make the manufacturing floor more efficient. ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIESSPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Intermediate to advanced experience (beyond basic data entry) working with computer applications such as Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint, and other presentation applications and/or software. Required Experience
Job Requirements
The incumbent must:- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Have a Bachelors degree in related field and generally two to five years of experience in a related field
- Have a Masters Degree and generally two to four years experience in a related field.
- Certification is required in some areas.
- Have experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications.
- Have strong communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
- Be able to pass all background checks and pre-employment tests, including any required drug test.
- Be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.
