Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Interface directly with the client on status of projects
Lead and coordinate a team of approximately 28 technical resources throughout the entire lifecycle of a software development project for
Accountable for the accuracy and consistency of development artifacts such as functional and system level requirement specifications, technical design documents, project estimates thru review and signoff.
Review and approve work estimates from the project staff.
Proactively identify all impediments that impact development plan, provide directions to project team members for timely resolution and work with Project Manager to assign owners and track progress.
Assist mentoring junior developers on development process and methodology.
Provide feedback on performance of team members.
Responsible to provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership in planning and executing activities required to deliver client data solutions to meet business requirements.
Responsible to coordinate product delivery through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing tight product delivery controls and Best Practices.
Responsible for strategizing / defining release plans, creating deployment schedules and reporting on deliverable status to cross-functional management teams.

Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in application development and large scale system management/development.
