OPTICAL SALES/FRAME STYLIST (FRANKLIN)

We are a well-established, busy, and growing private optometry practice, and we are currently seeking a frame stylist/optical salesperson to join our team!

We are looking for someone who has a true passion to help patients see, look, and feel their absolute best and will enjoy making our patients happy. Duties for this position include but are not limited to: explaining vision insurance benefits to patients, assisting patients with frame selection, recommending lenses and coatings to fit patient needs, checking out patients and assisting with other receptionist duties as needed, placing lab orders, filing appropriate insurances involving optical orders, checking in glasses with lensometer for accuracy and quality, communicating with patients regarding their glasses orders, frame repairs and adjustments, etc.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position will be well-organized, have an exceptional attention to detail, and have a genuine desire to serve patients eye care needs in a variety of capacities. Must be polished, professional, and possess outstanding people skills. We need someone with a true desire to help others, a neat and clean appearance, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with calmness, maturity, a positive attitude, and a smile!

Although we are professional, we have a fun and relaxed work environment and need someone who enjoys working well with others, understands the importance of being part of a team, and takes pride in going above and beyond. Must have a warm, friendly, can-do attitude and love working with people, especially children. Individuals with visible tattoos and facial piercings need not apply! Previous experience in optical sales or preferred; knowledge of medical/vision insurances and OfficeMate software is a plus.
