Reporting to the FacilitiGroup AVP, this Director will be responsible for the successful design, implementation and utilization of standardized programs across the HCA enterprise. Program areas include but are not limited to: regulatory compliance (including Joint Commission), computerized maintenance management software, environmental compliance and disaster response. The director will supervise a team of dedicated regulatory compliance specialists.Regulatory Compliance Responsible for the assessment, planning, coordination and development of education programs pertaining to the Joint Commission as they relate to the Environment of Care and Life Safety Serves as subject matter expert for Joint Commission Life Safety and Environment of Care Works in an advisory capacity for Group, Division and Facility administrators as well as corporate departments (including Quality, Risk/Insurance and IT&S) for all regulatory compliance as it pertains to facility infrastructure Assists facilities with the preparation for The Joint Commission; preparing and reviewing clarification letters to The Joint Commission. Conducts ongoing research to remain current with regulatory requirements from the Joint Commission, NFPA and others.Disaster Response Solicit and manage Remediation and Emergency Generator contracts Evaluate the risks of imminent hurricane treads and deploy assets as necessary Manage, oversee, and coordinate responsibilities and work flow of remediation contractors once deployedComputerized Maintenance Management Software Responsible for the implementation and successful utilization of CMMS across the enterprise Evaluate new CMMS technologies Environmental Programs Serves as subject matter expert Environmental Programs Responsible for developing training programs for all HCA personnel in order to comply with all Environmental RegulationsEngineering Program Management Manages the work load for the Facility Regulatory compliance team Successfully implement the initiatives of the FacilitiGroup VP and AVP

Job Requirements

• More than 10 years of relevant experience.
• Must have thorough knowledge of the Joint Commission Environment of Care and Life Safety Regulations and be willing to participate in annual training to remain current on standards.
• College Degree Required.
