Job Classification: Contract Job Summary:The role of this position is to develop and support high-performance, innovative web-based applications. The Web Applications Developer will develop web-based software applications using HTML, AJAX, JQuery, ASP.Net, VB.NET, C#, Web Services or other programming languages. Use object-oriented methodologies with a focus on delivering reusable code. Build applications from requirements and specifications, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance existing web applications and integrate data between systems.The Web Applications Developers will employ industry standard development tools, technologies and methodologies to deliver applications and system enhancements. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and good communication skills are required. Individuals that are self-starting and need little direction are well suited to this position. In addition, they routinely lead special development projects where they are called upon to find creative, web or mobile-based solutions for clients and the company. The Snr. Web Developer must be able to code web-based applications using AJAX, jQuery, CSS, C#, ASP.net with SQL Server backend. Developers may also maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing web applications. Web developers should be adept at applying web technology that will deliver business results. They will work to deliver applications based on customer requirements and company standards. This position also requires some SharePoint development/administration experience. SharePoint 2007 and 2010 would be a plus.General Responsibilities?
