Quality Assurance Manager at Clinton

Nelson Global Products is currently interviewing for a Quality Manager to oversee our entire Quality Department for our 300 employee plant located in Clinton, TN. To Qualify:

  • Must have a minimum of an Associate Degree (Bachelors Degree is preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a plant Quality Manager, with a employee size of 50+
  • Strong experience/knowledge ISO-9000 & TS16949 experience is preferred
  • Prior experience as a Quality Manager in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer literate in a windows based environment
  • Knowledge of customer specifications and standards
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong communication, problem solving and team work skills
  • Experience with measuring and testing equipment
  • Knowledge of Industry Specs and Standards


Essential Job Function:

  • Coordination and maintain the Document Management and Record Control processes
  • Coordinate and follow up on the SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) activities for rejected materiel
  • Management System Lead Internal Auditor
  • Assist in the organization of the hold / receiving area
  • Back up to the Quality Supervisor
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by CEO
  • Recommend improvements to the quality system processes
  • Insure that a robust Corrective and Preventive Action system is in place
  • Develop and react to the various monthly Quality Systems Metrics as a minimum
