Position Summary:

The Import / Export Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing the continued development and implementation of a global trade compliance program. Focused knowledge and skills in US import and export regulations are required. Investigative skills will be applicable in managing trade compliance with other countries as needed. Acting as the corporate trade compliance representative you will maintain an active role in assuring compliance of import/ export activities in the company owned subsidiaries and offices globally in the US and Mexico. Apply continuity with the global trade compliance programs by country.

 

Major Responsibilities:

Continued development and implementation of a corporate trade compliance program including:

•  Development and continued maintenance of import & export compliance procedure manuals in accordance with corporate and government regulations.

•  Define, proceduralize, and conduct trade compliance audits and ensure corrective action processes are in place to comply with all necessary regulations.

 

Actively support operational process controls through regular activity and training to keep the company compliant with trade regulations.

 

•  Serves as prime contact for import/ export compliance and government inquiries or notifications relating to compliance issues.

•  Supports compliance requirements and recommendations with other related internal organizations globally in maintaining continuity with corporate trade compliance direction.

•  Reviews and reports on the state of the companys compliance effectiveness, report areas of risk to senior team, recommend solutions, and obtain guidance and/or decision support for required improvements.

•  Stays current on U.S. import/ export regulatory changes and proposed legislation.

•  Prepares and files all required reports as specified by government export and import compliance agencies.

•  All other duties as requested by manager or department head.

•  10+ Years of progressively responsible experience in this field is required.

•  International Freight Forwarding based company experience preferred.

•  Excellent communication skills both written and oral

•  Strong analytical skills and excel proficiency

•  Excellent organizational skills

•  Experience in C-TPAT, ISO, TSA’s IACSSP, CHB, and NVOCC programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and follow a plan-o-gram to effectively complete reset and remodel work. Have a working knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology.
  • Perform duties such as moving and cleaning shelves, installing new racks and shelves, displaying merchandise properly, placing shelf strips and attaching tags properly, checking date codes and plan-o-gram integrity, and processing packouts, restocks and reorders as necessary.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Inside Sales Rep will act as a Sales/Warehouse Associate for retail store by selling products to businesses and industrial customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Support Construction Sales Specialists on construction sales opportunities by preparing quotes and managing inventory levels.
Establish a process for continuous and accurate data collection for Construction Sales Specialist regarding construction sales and inventory.
Physical receipt, checking and storage of delivered materials into the warehouse; performs inventory and handles distribution of all warehouse materials.
Enforces policies for proper receipt, storage and distribution of materials; reviews invoices.

Sells industrial, medical and specialty gases, welding supplies and related equipment to customers.
